Oak Crest Coulee
The purpose of the project was to improve surface water runoff within the Oakcrest Subdivision and development area adjacent to the golf course. R&Q Trucking, Inc. won the bid to construct the project. Construction was started late summer of 2024 and completed in October 2024.

3225 linear feet of the coulee was improved through channel modifications and stormwater treatment

3 reaches of iron-enhanced sand filters were installed

Undesirable aquatic vegetation was reduced, and the coulee ecosystem was improved

Stormwater sediment basins were constructed along the channel and before the outlet into the Roseau River

Sediment was reduced by 6.1 tons/year

Total amount of phosphorus entering the Roseau River was reduced by 51.9 lbs/year

Roseau River Watershed District, City of Roseau, Oak Crest Golf Course, Roseau County SWCD, Red River Watershed Management Board, and the State of Minnesota Clean Water Fund
